A. WHY DO WE ASK YOU TO READ OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS?
Because we need to know what we can properly expect of you and you need to know what you can properly expect of us.
B. DEFINITION OF TERMS.
In these conditions –
“We” and “us” means Adventus Travel Our office address is Plaza Ramon Berenguer el Gran 1, primero 1D, 08002 Barcelona, SPAIN.
“You” means the person who has signed the booking form and each and every member of the group on whose behalf the Group Contact has signed. If we accept a booking by telephone or by the internet “You” means the person making the booking.
The Group Contact is obliged to pay us all monies due under this agreement. If other members of the group decide not to proceed or claim a refund or if we agree to accept payments from them or if their credit card company grants them a refund, the Group Contact remains liable. We will credit any payments received from individuals towards the group booking price against the Group Contacts obligations.
C. WHEN DOES THE AGREEMENT START?
No binding agreement will be in place until we post a confirmation of booking to you that will include these Terms and Conditions.
D. DEFINITION OF OUR SERVICES.
We organise events and activities of many different kinds. In these conditions “event”, “activity” or “service” means any such event or activity. Accommodation is also included under the definition of “service”.
E. WHAT DO YOU AGREE TO DO?
• To behave at all times in a safe and courteous manner.
• To obey the proper instructions of any supervisor, activity leader or guide.
• To dress and equip yourself suitably for any event when we indicate prior to the event that special clothing or equipment is to be provided by you.
• To use safety equipment as instructed and not tamper with or abuse it.
• To compensate our contractors or us for any damage caused by you in the course of an event.
▪ All venues and event or service providers that we work in conjunction with have the right to refuse entry or eject you for drunkenness, violence, verbal abuse, excessive noise levels and general bad behaviour. THIS INCLUDES YOUR HOTEL.
CONDUCT : Please be considerate of others and others’ property. Failure of any member of your group to do so will result in immediate ejection from the premises or activity. If any person(s) in your group are requested to leave any premises, vehicle or activity reserved through or linked with Adventus Travel, the remainder of your holiday arrangements will be cancelled and cease immediately for your whole GROUP.
DRESS CODES : We ask your group to bring with them and wear appropriate attire. For any evening activities please ensure you are smart of appearance, definitely no fancy dress, jeans, t shirts or trainers. For your activities, please wear comfortable clothes and we suggest you wear sturdy footwear.
F. HOW DO WE DEAL WITH RISK ?
We organise a number of events. Some of them involve a degree of risk to you of physical injury or damage to property. This is what makes these events exciting. We do not exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or that of our employees but we do not accept liability for the negligence of any other persons. We do all we reasonably can to reduce the risk to you. If we have done that and are not negligent, you will take responsibility for any risks involved in participation in any event.
In order to reduce risk and provide cover if injury occurs, the following conditions will apply:
1. We reserve the right to withdraw you from an event if you do not honour your obligations under Clause F of these conditions or if, in our opinion, you are not sufficiently fit to participate in any event or if you are under eighteen. You must let us know of any existing medical condition which may affect your ability to participate fully in an event.
2. We want you to arrange accident cover for you when you attend an event. We think this is important. Information is provided on our website where to find suitable insurance. We are entitled to assume that either you have arranged your own cover or you are prepared to take the risk of being uninsured. Insurance cover will be subject to the policy conditions and any exemptions or excesses mentioned in the policy.
3. Occasionally, we or our suppliers may (because of the risky nature of an event) require you to sign a disclaimer releasing us or them from liability for loss suffered in the course of an event. We will not be liable for any loss you may suffer if you fail to sign such disclaimer, whether such loss occurs under this agreement or otherwise.
G. WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU WANT TO CANCEL?
Cancellation policy. You and we agree to the following –
Any cancellation must be in writing or by email from the Group Contact.
Depending on the date of cancellation, you must pay the following cancellation charge:

4. If you wish to cancel on behalf of only some members of the group then the cancellation charges outlined above will apply pro rata but we may become entitled to cancel the event (see below), and the group discounts may no longer apply. This may necessitate a further payment by you to pay the difference between the previous discounted price and the revised price.
Any date, timing or element alteration to a booking amounts to a cancellation of the original booking and we reserve the right to apply the cancellation charges under this agreement. We will endeavour to accommodate your requests; if we are able to change your booking we reserve the right to apply a 20 euro per person administration charge.
We will, subject to availability and up to 8 days before departure, allow increases to the size of your party without applying administration charges. Within 8 days, we will endeavour to accommodate your requests but additions will be subject to a 20 euro administrative charge per person.
H. WHAT IF WE CANCEL?
In most cases neither you nor we are entitled to cancel because of adverse weather conditions. For some events if the safety risks are, in our discretion, unacceptable, we reserve the right to cancel the event. If we do cancel in such circumstances, we will make every effort to reschedule the event for another date. We will not be obliged to give any refund if we cancel an event because of adverse weather conditions. This will also apply to any rescheduled event.
Unless we cancel in the circumstances described above, we will only to cancel if:
For reasons beyond our control, we cannot organise the event or the proposed venue for the event is unavailable.
You or we become insolvent or in the case of an individual you become subject to a bankruptcy petition.
We believe that the booking, any of those associated with it, or the purpose of the booking might damage our reputation.
We decide that any reduction in numbers from the original booking makes the event uneconomical or impractical, or if you fail to pay on time.
Unless we cancel because of safety risks associated with the weather (when we will reschedule) or because of a reduction in numbers (when a cancellation charge may apply) if we cancel, we will refund all advance payments made by you and will not have any further liability to you. If an event is cancelled by a third party or for any cause beyond our control, our liability to you will be limited to the amount of the advance payments made by you. We will not be liable for any other losses that you may incur.
I. WHAT ABOUT MONEY?
For services other than accommodation, a deposit of 20% of the total booking value is payable when you confirm your booking.
If accommodation is required the equivalent of the first night’s stay is payable when you confirm your booking.
The remainder of the total booking value is payable no later than four weeks before the scheduled event.
Payments can be made by international bank transfer or by credit card. Payments by credit card will be subject to a 1.95% surcharge. Our bank details will be provided on confirmation of your booking.
If you do not pay us within the time limits that we specify you may jeopardise our ability to provide the event and we have the right to provide alternatives to all or part of the original booking. If the full payment is not received by the time specified, we have the right to treat all or part of the booking as cancelled and you will be liable for the cancellation charges due to us under this agreement.
J. CAN WE CHANGE WHAT WE AGREED TO PROVIDE
Yes within limits.
We reserve the right to move members of the same sex within a group between single, twin and triple accommodation, so that we can make the most efficient use of available accommodation.
We reserve the right to change accommodation to other accommodation of similar quality with similar access to any activities that we agree to arrange.
If an event within a package, which we organise, becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we will have the choice of organising an alternative activity (in consultation with you) or making a proportional refund. If we decide that such event is a subsidiary and not a principal part of any package, we will not be obliged and you will not be entitled to cancel the whole package.
K. FOOTBALL BOOKINGS
If you have booked football tickets as part of your package with us, you should be aware of the following. No tickets can be obtained for a FC Barcelona home game until the Monday preceding the game. We will always endeavour to buy the tickets on the Monday, and we have so far never had problems buying tickets. However, in the unlikely event that tickets are unavailable or sold out, we reserve the right to refund you the money you paid us for the football tickets as part of the package. We will inform you of this as soon as possible, and will refund you by bank transfer, as soon as we receive your bank details.
If you wish to book with us it is understood that you have read and accept Adventus Travel S.L’s Terms and Conditions.

2) Pictures on Website
All pictures on the website, or in promotional material, when used as examples of our packages are used only as samples of our events, activities and accommodation. Actual event, activity or accommodation may differ from picture.
3) Transport
Transport costs are only covered in the cost of events and services if specified by us on our website.
4) Notes
If you wish to book through any medium (e.g. via telephone, letter, booking form, internet - including e-mails) it is understood that you have read and accept our Terms and Conditions.
