We have certain terms and conditions that you should be aware of because we want you to know what you expect of us and the service we provide and what we expect of you.

To behave in a safe and polite manner at all times.
To follow the proper instructions of any supervisor or activity leader, either a Barcelona Tours agent or any agent of the supplier for any chosen activity. We expect you to dress and equip yourself suitably as indicated by us for any event where special clothing or equipment is to be provided by you.
To use safety equipment as instructed and not tamper with or abuse it.
To compensate us or our contractors for any damage caused by you in the course of an event.
To treat our guides and representatives with respect.
What makes some of the events we organise exciting is that they involve a degree of risk to you of physical injury or damage to property.
We do all we reasonably can to reduce the risk to you and will accept liability if any issues are directly the fault of us or our employees (including personal injury or death). We do not accept liability for the negligence of any other persons. Upon investigation, if we find that we have not been negligent in the organisation of your activities, then the responsibility lies with you and your group.
In order to reduce risk the following conditions will apply: We reserve the right to withdraw you from an event if you do not honour your obligations stated above of these conditions or if, in our opinion, you are not sufficiently fit to participate in any event or if you are under eighteen. You must let us know of any existing medical condition which may affect your ability to participate fully in an event.
Furthermore, certain specific activities involve restrictions imposed by our suppliers. E.g. weight and height restrictions. We shall endeavour to inform you of these restrictions at the time of booking but the final decision as to the fitness for any event of any individual in a tour party will rest with Barcelona Tours based on the terms and conditions of our supplier and using their advice.
Although you are not obliged to arrange any accident cover for when you attend an event, we think this is important and we are entitled to assume that either you have arranged your own cover or you are prepared to take the risk of being uninsured.
Occasionally, we or our suppliers may (because of the risky nature of an event) require you to sign a disclaimer releasing us or them from liability for loss suffered in the course of an event. We will not be liable for any loss you may suffer if you fail to sign such disclaimer, whether such loss occurs under this agreement or otherwise.
Total booking value is payable no later than two weeks before the scheduled event (unless a special arrangement has been reached). No payments for pre-booked activities can be paid on the day - as a registered travel agency, we are required to take payments prior to events. Should you need to cancel or require a refund for any reason, please see below.
Cancellation costs us money and there needs to be an agreed cancellation policy. We and you agree the following:
Any cancellation must be sent by e-mail by the organiser to the following email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Depending on the date of cancellation, you must pay the following cancellation charge:
More than 4 weeks before the event is scheduled to take place 20% of the total Package Cost or the agreed deposit already paid
Between 4 and 2 weeks before the event is scheduled to take place 50% of the total Package Cost.
Less than 2 weeks before the event is scheduled to take place 100% of the total Package Cost.
If you wish to cancel on behalf of only some members of the group then the cancellation charges outlined above will apply pro rata but we may become entitled to cancel the event (see below), and the group discounts may no longer apply. This may necessitate a further payment by you to pay the difference between the previous discounted price and the revised price.
Final numbers are required no later than 4 weeks prior to your arrival date, in order to amend invoices accordingly in time for the outstanding amount due by date.
In most cases neither we nor you are entitled to cancel because of adverse weather conditions. For some events if the safety risks are, in our discretion or our suppliers´ discretion, unacceptable, we reserve the right to cancel the event. If we do cancel in such circumstances, we will make every effort to reschedule the event for another date. We will not be obliged to give any refund if we cancel an event because of adverse weather conditions. This will also apply to any rescheduled event. However, we will attempt to refund you any fees paid once we have taken account of our reasonable costs and expenses including but not restricted to, any money we have paid to any supplier for the activity, the costs of transport to the activity and reasonable costs for our time and energy.
Unless we cancel in the circumstances described above, we will only cancel if:
For reasons beyond our control, we cannot organise the event. You or we become insolvent or in the case of an individual you become subject to a bankruptcy petition.
We believe that the booking, any of those associated with it, or the purpose of the booking might damage our reputation.
We decide that any reduction in numbers from the original booking makes the event uneconomical or impractical.
Unless we cancel because of safety risks associated with the weather (when we will reschedule) or because of a reduction in numbers (when a cancellation charge may apply), if we cancel we will refund all advance payments made by you and we will not have any further liability to you.
We hold all monies pre-paid by you in a separate bank account until the event has taken place or the cancellation policy applies. This is in accordance with the Package Travel Regulations 1992
If you have booked football tickets as part of your package with us, you should be aware of the following. As a recognized agent, working in conjunction with FC Barcelona our ticket allocation for each game is secure. However, in the unlikely event that tickets are unavailable or sold out, we reserve the right to refund you the money you paid us for the football tickets as part of the package. We will inform you of this as soon as possible, and you can choose to be paid by cheque or bank transfer in British pounds, or can receive the refund in Euros when you arrive in Barcelona, based on the exchange rate on the day of your arrival. Another option is to use the refund to help pay for an alternative activity that we offer. We may be able to book these at relatively short notice. The price of tickets offered on the instant quote page is a minimum price that we will attempt to adhere to. However, FC Barcelona operates a staggered pricing system which means that we will occasionally have to offer tickets at a higher price than advertised.
We hold the relevant insurances in terms of Public Liability and that as a Registered Travel Agency. We would strongly suggest you arrange your own Travel Insurance, to cover any medical emergencies, losses, thefts during your stay in Barcelona, or any flight delays or cancellations which would impact your bookings with us.
Activity prices based on the website are subject to change and unless otherwise specified are based on a minimum of 12 participants. A quote will be provide for your number of participants. This does not apply to products booked on line where the price advertised is the final price and price to be paid.
Our terms and conditions do not affect your consumer statutory rights. When booking a Barcelona Tours product or service it is understood that you agree to these terms and conditions.
